1. What This Privacy Policy Covers

This website, located at https://www.rakutenready.com (the “Site”), is operated by Curbside, Inc. d/b/a Rakuten Ready (“Rakuten Ready,” “we” or “us”), part of the Rakuten Group, which includes the affiliates and subsidiaries of our parent company, Rakuten, Inc., based in Tokyo, Japan.

Rakuten Ready’s services (“Services”) include providing our business clients (“Clients”) with web and mobile tools, services, and related analytics to help them manage and coordinate online ordering for timely pickup by their customers (“End Users”), including, for some Services, predicting when an End User is approaching the Client’s physical location so that the Client business may act in response. Our Services may be built into the mobile applications of many leading businesses, and we also offer a standalone version of this technology in our “Arrive” mobile app (a tool to interact with End Users for use by individual Clients who do not have their own mobile application), and offer an end-to-end web and mobile e-commerce solution (for Clients with only brick and mortar stores, to enable them to connect online with their End Users). In the course of providing our Services to our Clients, Rakuten Ready receives or collects personal information about Clients’ End Users on behalf of our Clients. As to any personal information we process about End Users through our Clients’ use of the Services, we act as a service provider to our Clients and thus do not use, retain, or disclose this information except in relation to the Services we provide them per our agreement or terms of service. Rakuten Ready is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of our Clients as to their handling of your information, which may differ from those set forth in this privacy policy. Please check with individual businesses of which you are a customer or End User of their website, application, store, or services, about the policies they have in place to govern their collection, use and processing of your personal information, how to turn off location tracking through the websites or mobile applications of our Clients, and how to exercise your consumer privacy rights regarding your personal information processed by us on behalf of our Clients.

This Privacy Policy explains how Rakuten Ready collects, uses, and discloses personal information about you we may collect as a business on our own behalf, as a Client who uses our Services or as a Site visitor, such as when you access or use this Site to learn more about Rakuten Ready or otherwise communicate with us.
