We enable brands to deliver rewarding online-to-offline experiences that give time back to their customers.
In 2013, former leaders of location innovation at Apple, Jaron Waldman and Denis Laprise founded Curbside with the goal of building technology that powers fast, easy mobile commerce at brick-and-mortar locations. Fast forward to 2018, we joined the Rakuten family to accelerate our offerings and scale on a global stage. In June 2019, Curbside became Rakuten Ready. We have a new name, but our core goal remains the same.
Rakuten is a global ecosystem encompassing over 70 businesses, handling over $120 billion in e-commerce every year. Through this network, they empower communities, merchants and partners, bringing the joy of discovery to more than 1 billion people.
Rakuten Ready was built by a team of leaders with extensive experience in location technology and an obsession with every detail of the customer experience.
